• Nerfed Air Siege:
◦ final level now shoots only 1 additional bullet (instead of 2 currently)
◦ non-final levels do not shoot additional bullet anymore
◦ extra range has been removed on every level
• Ag engines will now have a base ground speed capped at 140 m/s (except for A-X which stays at 150)
Ag had the ability to target enemies from far away and to take them down in a few seconds, leaving little to no chance of actually fighting back in many situations. This change aims to reduce the Ag's power in the air.
At the same time, Ag had the ability to reach high speed with no time limit on the ground, which could feel frustrating to play against. Our goal with the engine nerf is to reduce that mobility which sometimes could be greater than that of Igs.
• Nerfed Frenzy:
◦ Removed the 15% min/max bonus provided by the final level
◦ Added the negative pierce to lower levels as well
Igs can stack a lot of missiles quickly, which would make it hard to handle for the enemy in most situation considering how much they hit. This change, while not significant, aims to tune it down a bit and encourage more engaging fights.
• Updated Tier 2 Chrome Orbs recipe:
◦ [Tier 2] Chrome Orb [10/15] will now require an Andras Binder instead of a Tomahawk Binder-D V8
◦ [Tier 2] Chrome Orb [13/15] will now require a Berith Defender instead of 250 Emergency Repair Shield Boosters
◦ [Tier 2] Chrome Orb [15/15] will now require a Caim Veil instead of 10 1.000 WP Capsules
• Andras Binder, Berith Defender, Caim Veil and Eligor Guarder can now be dropped on Chrome Carriers at a low rate
Looking at the Tier 2 Chrome Orbs recipe, we noticed they were mostly made randomly, and we felt like they required more resources from specific geartypes than others. Moreover, some items could not be obtained in the game without spending CR-Points, and some could straight up not be obtained anymore. This change aims to improve (without fixing it completely) the balance of these missions, while fixing the issues regarding availability of the necessary items.
On top of it, the armors were added to Chrome Carriers because we felt like these goldies lost their value with the abundance of token fragments provided by our events.
• Simplified the recipe to craft a Foreign Mineral
◦ You will not need to craft the Foreign Mineral 1/3 and Foreign Mineral 2/3 anymore
◦ Older recipes will remain in case players still have some Foreign Mineral 1/3 and Foreign Mineral 2/3
• Fixed Ice Chrome Citadel boss not respawning
• The weekly PvP quest no longer requires Symbol Tokens
